- for a successful April 2008 mission week in Ipswich. Pray for those who have come to Christ, that they would be discipled, grow, and be protected. Pray for Tony Anthony and the team as they prepare to leave for Romania and then on to other places - for refreshment and strength. Pray for Stuart Balmer and his team who have put a lot of energy into the week locally. Give thanks for the school work undertaken, and pray for CYM, church leaders, youth workers and all who are following up.
2008 was the Year of the Tiger
in Ipswich:
the Visits to Ipswich by Tony
Anthony
This
is the special website for the visits of Tony Anthony, an
evangelist working with Avanti Ministries, to Ipswich in the UK in
November 2007 and April 2008. The November events
have taken place and you can read reports about them by clicking here.
Information about what the April 2008 events were can be found here. Can you or your church help to fund the April events? Click here for more information.
Tony Anthony is a man who decided to follow the Lord Jesus Christ whilst he was in prison in the 1980s. His life was turned around as a consequence. He now serves the Lord as an evangelist and has a burning passion to motivate, train and mobilise others to share the gospel effectively.
Why "Taming the Tiger"? The title derives from Tony's best-selling book of that name. Click here for more information about the book.
The visits to Ipswich by Tony Anthony were sponsored by the Ipswich Partnership of Evangelical Churches (IPEC). They were organised by a working group co-ordinated by Stuart Balmer, minister of Whitton Baptist Church, Ipswich.
